Nicole Kidman is reportedly taking a much stricter approach to dating after finalizing her divorce from Keith Urban.
The 58-year-old actress ended her marriage to Urban, also 58, in September, closing one of Hollywood’s longest-running celebrity love stories. Now, sources say Kidman is open to romance again, but only under very specific conditions.
Friends are reportedly encouraging her to consider dating outside Hollywood, including a wealthy business figure who could match the stability she now wants.

Kidman is said to be living in Nashville with her daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15, and taking a slower approach to her personal life.

The insider added, “There’s no sense of urgency driving her decisions. She’s being more deliberate than ever about who she allows into her personal space.”
According to sources, Kidman’s biggest rule is that any future partner must match her in responsibility and financial independence.
“This isn’t about wealth for its own sake. It’s about balance,” a close friend said. “Nicole wants someone who’s on equal footing, someone who takes accountability for their own life and career.” The friend added, “If they’re intimidated by her success or can’t handle adult responsibility, it’s a non-starter.”

One name said to be circulating in her circle is Paul Salem, 62, chairman of MGM Resorts International.
