Zoë Kravitz is thinking seriously about what comes next, both in her career and in her personal life.

The ‘Blink Twice’ director opened up in a new Vogue U.K. interview published June 11, shortly after her engagement to Harry Styles. Kravitz did not name Styles directly, but she did speak candidly about motherhood, work and the pressure of living under a brighter spotlight.

The 37-year-old actress said she is realistic about what it takes to give a family and a film career the attention they deserve.

“I’m a realist,” Kravitz said. “To excel in anything, you need to give it your full attention.”

She added that she does not see herself directing a movie while raising a child at the same time.

“It’s about prioritizing where you want to invest your energy,” she said.

Kravitz made her directorial debut with ‘Blink Twice’ in 2024. While she has no confirmed directing project next, her acting calendar remains busy. She is set to star in the heist thriller ‘How to Rob a Bank’ and an untitled Apple TV project.

Harry Styles Romance Raised The Spotlight

Kravitz first sparked dating rumors with Styles in August 2025. The couple has kept the relationship mostly private, though she has been spotted wearing an engagement ring in New York City.

Being followed more closely has not been easy.

“It’s impossible to ignore when it’s happening,” Kravitz said.

She said paparazzi outside her home can feel deeply unsettling, even if she understands why the attention exists.

“I understand the factors at play, but that doesn’t make it any easier to accept,” she said.

Kravitz Refuses To Hide

Kravitz said she sometimes wants to disappear from public view. Other days, she pushes back by living normally.

“Some days you want to hide from the world,” she said.

Then comes the other feeling.

“I’m going to get my coffee, and no one’s going to stop me,” she added.

Kravitz said people question why she still walks around New York, but to her, that is simply life in the city.

“I’m not about to drive three blocks,” she said.

For Kravitz, the point is bigger than coffee. Fame may change the experience, but she does not want it to take away her normal routine.

“I refuse to become a recluse,” she said.

With marriage, career and possible motherhood all part of the conversation, Kravitz sounds focused on one thing: building a life she can actually live.
