Taylor Swift had a full fan moment at the ‘Toy Story 5’ premiere.
The 36-year-old pop superstar attended the Los Angeles premiere on Tuesday, June 9, where she crossed paths with Tom Hanks and Tim Allen. But Swift did not just show up for red carpet photos. She brought homework.
Swift arrived with an original VHS copy of the 1995 ‘Toy Story’ movie and asked the franchise’s two biggest stars to sign it.

Hanks, 69, who voices Woody, confirmed that he signed Swift’s copy of the first ‘Toy Story.’
“I signed her original VHS of the first ‘Toy Story,'” Hanks said.
He also joked that Swift should have brought the VHS player too.
“We could’ve signed that and sent the whole package to the Smithsonian!” Hanks said.
Allen, 73, who voices Buzz Lightyear, also signed the throwback item. For Swift, it was a sweet full-circle moment. She has long described herself as a ‘Toy Story’ kid, and now her music is part of the franchise.

Swift’s New Song Joins ‘Toy Story 5’
Swift’s new track ‘I Knew It, I Knew You’ appears in ‘Toy Story 5.’ The song was written with longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff and marks her first release since her 12th studio album, ‘The Life of a Showgirl,’ arrived last October.
The single dropped June 5 and quickly became Apple Music’s biggest soundtrack debut ever. Swift also surprised fans with a music video just hours after the song’s release.
On Instagram, Swift said she had always dreamed of writing for characters she has loved since childhood.
“I’ve always dreamed of writing for these characters I’ve adored since I was five,” she wrote.

Swift said writing the song felt deeply personal.
“Writing this song felt like a musical journey home,” she shared.
She added that creating music for Jessie felt both challenging and natural.
“Being a @toystory kid from age 5 until now… it’s an adventure I’m on to infinity and beyond,” Swift wrote.
‘Toy Story 5’ is directed by franchise veteran Andrew Stanton. Hanks returns as Woody, Allen as Buzz, Joan Cusack as Jessie and Tony Hale as Forky. Randy Newman also returns for the latest Disney-Pixar chapter.
The movie arrives in theaters June 19.
For Swift, the premiere was more than another Hollywood night. It was a chance to join a childhood favorite and get the VHS receipt signed by Woody and Buzz themselves.
