Elordi was reportedly expected to join the Cannes jury under president Park Chan-wook. If he had accepted, he would have been one of the youngest jurors in the festival’s history.

But earlier this month, reports said Elordi had dropped out because of a foot fracture. The reasoning was that Cannes jury duty involves long days, repeated screenings, events, and plenty of movement around the Palais.
Then the Hawaii photos arrived.
Elordi was seen on Kaua’i with Jenner, where the pair reportedly stayed at North Shore Preserve Resort, went for coffee, visited a wine shop, and relaxed on the beach. In one viral photo, Jenner was seen holding what appeared to be a bottle of rosé while sitting beside him.
Fans Accuse Elordi Of Risking His Career
Some online critics questioned why Elordi could vacation in Hawaii if his foot injury kept him from Cannes.
One user wrote that Elordi dropping out of Cannes for a vacation with the Kardashian-Jenner circle told them “everything” they needed to know.
Another argued that if he was not ready to take the Cannes jury job seriously, he should not have accepted it in the first place.
A third critic went further, writing that they hoped the vacation would not end up costing him his career.
The criticism intensified after Elordi was later seen in Los Angeles in a car with Jenner, Kylie Jenner, and Timothée Chalamet. Elordi was reportedly in the driver’s seat, which made some fans question how serious the foot injury was.
One person called it a “fumble,” asking why someone with a supposedly serious foot injury would be driving while three other people were in the car.

Elordi and Jenner first sparked dating rumors after being spotted together at Coachella. They had also been seen talking at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party earlier this year.
A source previously said the two had been “hanging out and getting to know each other” over the last few months.
Neither Elordi nor Jenner has publicly confirmed the relationship.
Elordi has previously been linked to Kaia Gerber, Zendaya, Joey King, and Olivia Jade. Jenner was most recently linked to Bad Bunny and previously dated Devin Booker.
