Nicole Kidman is reportedly taking a quiet but firm role in the fallout from Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness’ divorce.

Jackman and Furness announced their split in September 2023 after 27 years of marriage, saying they were “pursuing individual growth.”

That statement fueled more attention around Jackman’s relationship with Foster. The pair reportedly began dating in 2024 after starring together in ‘The Music Man’ on Broadway. At the time of their stage run, both were still married to other people.
According to one insider, Kidman believes Furness was deeply hurt by the way everything unfolded. “Nicole isn’t interested in pretending otherwise just because Hugh showed up with a new woman on his arm,” a source said.

Jackman and Foster made their first Met Gala red carpet appearance together earlier this month. Kidman reportedly avoided them at the event.

The Met Gala was reportedly a painful moment for Furness because she and Jackman once treated the event as one of their special nights together. Seeing him attend with Foster allegedly hit hard.
