Nicole Kidman is heading into Met Gala week with a sharp power-dressing moment.
The actress attended Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos’s pre-Met Gala 2026 party over the weekend, stepping out in a sleek black menswear-inspired look before her co-chair duties on Monday night.
Kidman, who will co-chair the May 4 event with Beyoncé, Venus Williams and Anna Wintour, joined a star-heavy crowd at Bezos’s NoMad home on Saturday. Instead of teasing a direct interpretation of this year’s “fashion is art” theme, she leaned into a darker CEO-style look.
Kidman Wore A Sleek Black Power Suit
In photos shared by Deuxmoi and ‘The Daily Mail,’ Kidman wore a black blazer with matching high-waisted wide-leg trousers. The fabric had a reflective sheen, giving the outfit a liquid effect.
She paired the suit with a white silk dress shirt and a black silk bow tie, keeping the styling formal but relaxed.
The accessories stayed sharp. Kidman added a diamond tennis choker necklace and carried a black leather clutch with a chain strap. She finished the look with towering black pointed-toe stilettos. Her platinum blonde hair was styled in a wispy blowout with eyebrow-grazing bangs.
Kidman chose glossy tailoring, sharp proportions, and a hint of undone glamour through the loose bow tie. That made the look feel like a continuation of the high-powered style associated with ‘Babygirl,’ where Kidman’s character leaned into corporate authority and sleek sensuality.
Kidman Made A Huge Met Gala Statement Last Year
Kidman’s 2025 Met Gala look was much more theatrical.
She wore a custom Balenciaga Couture gown that reportedly took more than 700 hours to make. The black dress featured a Basque-style bodice, layers of tulle petticoats, silk bow belts, and a tilted silhouette.
Her hair also drew attention. Kidman showed off a dramatic two-tone cropped style with golden blonde and brown tones, slicked back on one side with a bright blonde bang partially covering one eye. She completed that look with diamond earrings, a black lace scarf, wrist-length gloves and black satin stilettos.
This year, she is arriving not just as a guest but as one of the co-chairs. If the pre-Met party look is any clue, Kidman may be saving the real drama for Monday.
