Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner’s romance is no longer just annoying some fans. It is apparently pushing a few of them out completely.
The actor’s relationship with Jenner has become more public over the past year, from award shows to courtside dates and viral clips. Now, one of his best-known fan account leaders has officially stepped away, saying the fandom no longer feels like what she originally joined.
Simone Cromer, the 59-year-old behind Club Chalamet, announced she is done following the actor after years of devotion.
Her exit comes as insiders claim Chalamet and Jenner are getting more serious behind the scenes, with proposal talk, family approval and even future child conversations now part of the story.
Club Chalamet Leader Says The Fandom Changed
Cromer had already made her feelings about Jenner clear.
She previously expressed “pain and heartache” over Chalamet’s romance with the Kylie Cosmetics founder. She also edited Jenner out of photos and avoided using her name.
Now, she says she is leaving the fandom entirely.
“To deny the obvious is to be obtuse and bury your head in the sand,” Cromer wrote on Instagram.
She said the fan community is no longer what it once was.
“This fan community is not the same as it was four years ago,” she added. “So much has changed from what we all initially signed up for that it doesn’t resemble what lured us here in the first place.”
The move has drawn attention because Cromer had been one of Chalamet’s most recognizable online supporters. She also has a history of shifting away from celebrity fandoms after major romantic developments, having previously stepped back from supporting Michael Fassbender around the time he married Alicia Vikander.
Kylie’s Family Reportedly Loves Chalamet
While some fans are pulling away, Jenner’s family is reportedly leaning in.
“Kylie’s entire family loves Timothée,” one insider claimed. “He calls them his second family.”
The source added that when Chalamet is in Los Angeles, he and Jenner live together at her Hidden Hills home. He is also reportedly involved with her children, Stormi and Aire, whom Jenner shares with Travis Scott.
“Kylie told him there’s no one else she’d consider having another child with,” the insider claimed.
That is a long way from early dating rumors. If accurate, the relationship has moved from celebrity flirtation to a serious family-level bond.
Proposal Talk Is Reportedly Complicated
Chalamet is reportedly open to taking the next step, but Jenner is said to be more cautious.
“Timothée has talked proposing to Kylie, but she doesn’t want to get married, at least not yet,” an insider claimed. “She told him when couples get married things usually start to go downhill.”
The source said Jenner’s hesitation may come from her family’s history of high-profile divorces.
Chalamet has allegedly asked Kris Jenner and Kendall Jenner for advice on how to change Kylie’s mind. Meanwhile, Jenner’s family is reportedly encouraging the couple to make things official.
One insider said Kris and the family would like to see them married soon and often ask Kylie when she is getting married or having more children.
The Romance Went From Private To Very Public
Chalamet and Jenner first sparked rumors in 2023 after crossing paths during Paris Couture Week. By September of that year, they appeared to confirm the relationship at a Beyoncé concert before later attending the US Open together.
Since then, Jenner has appeared with Chalamet at major events, including awards shows and basketball games. A viral moment involving Ariana Grande also fueled engagement speculation when she appeared to ask whether the couple was engaged.
Chalamet later gave a coy answer when asked about having a girlfriend and whether he would get married, saying, “You’re going to get me in trouble, man,” before adding, “Yes. Yes.”
For now, the couple seems to be trying to balance public attention with private stability.
“They’re currently enjoying the life they have made for each other,” one source said.
The problem is that Chalamet’s fandom may not be enjoying it with them.
