Attorney and law professor Danny Karon said that when a judge blocks additional briefing, it often means the court has had enough.
“They’re fed up with the lawyers,” Karon said.
He added, “They don’t see the benefit of additional submissions, or they’re simply tired of reading.”
Karon also offered a blunt lesson for attorneys.
“As in life, less tends to be more, and attorneys should strive to take as few pages as possible to make their point,” he said.
