Netflix’s ‘You Killed Me’: How This Korean Series Became the Top Global Hit in November 2025

Netflix’s intense thriller You Killed Me has surged to the top of global viewership charts, soaring from eighth place the previous week to dominate the non-English TV category.

According to Newsis on the 19th, the series recorded 7.8 million views and 65 million viewing hours from October 10 to 16, outperforming Ikusagami: God of War, which followed with 6.2 million views and 31.7 million hours watched. You Killed Me, which premiered on November 7, initially debuted in eighth place for the week of November 3 to 9 with 2.3 million views and 19 million hours watched.

The drama centers on two best friends who plot to kill an abusive husband. Jeon So Ni delivers a gripping performance as Eun Soo, a woman haunted by childhood trauma stemming from her fathers domestic violence. At the same time, Lee Yoo Mi plays Hee Soo, whose marriage is defined by relentless abuse.

The cast also includes Jang Seung Jo and Lee Moo Saeng. The series is adapted from Japanese author Hideo Okuda’s 2014 novel Naomi and Kanako. Two additional Korean titles made strong showings in the same category: SBS’s romantic comedy Kiss is a Mistake! ranked third with 6.1 million views and 13.8 million hours watched, while Netflix’s reality competition Physical: Asia placed eighth with 2.5 million views and 25.8 million viewing hours.
