CORTIS Makes Surprising Comeback on U.S. Billboard Charts
According to Billboard’s latest chart released on Tuesday, CORTIS (comprising Martin, James, Juhun, Seonghyeon, and Keonho) has climbed to the 7th spot on the World Albums chart with their debut album COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES. The group has maintained a chart presence for an impressive 11 consecutive weeks since their initial entry at No. 15 on September 20.
In a show of resilience, CORTIS re-entered the Top Album Sales chart at No. 44 and the Top Current Album Sales chart at No. 32 after a three-week hiatus. This resurgence underscores the group’s growing fanbase, fueled by their continued domestic and international activities and original content, even after their official promotions concluded.
The timing of CORTIS’s chart comeback coincided with their 100-day debut anniversary on Tuesday, adding extra significance to the achievement. To mark this milestone, the group unveiled their official fandom name COER at midnight through the Weverse community platform and their social media channels. The name COER represents the dedicated fans who support CORTIS with unwavering passion.
During a Weverse Live session at 8:00 p.m. (KST) on the same day, the quintet expressed their heartfelt gratitude to fans, stating that it’s hard to believe it’s been 100 days since CORTIS debuted. The COER are truly the backbone of their success. Later that evening, at 9:00 p.m. (KST), they released a touching video on their official YouTube channel, capturing their emotional debut celebration party, which deeply moved their fanbase.
Looking ahead, CORTIS is set to make appearances at major year-end award shows. They’ve been invited to perform at the 2025 MAMA AWARDS at Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Stadium on November 28-29, and the 10th Anniversary Asia Artist Awards 2025 at Kaohsiung National Stadium in Taiwan on December 6.
