The agency stated, “Chaeyoung will be focusing on getting ample rest and recovering her condition through the end of the year. As her health is our top priority, she will take part in upcoming schedules only minimally—or, when necessary, sit them out entirely.”

Chaeyoung has been absent from fan events and the world tour since late October. She expressed deep disappointment about missing the upcoming world tour stops in Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, and Bangkok.

JYP Entertainment concluded that they sincerely apologize to the fans for causing concern. They’re committed to supporting Chaeyoung’s full recovery so she can return to her fans in good health. It appreciates the continued support and encouragement during this time. Once again, they’re sorry for this news and thanking for the understanding.

In other news, “WAKE UP (Feat. CHAEYOUNG of TWICE),” a new track featuring Chaeyoung, was released on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. TWICE will continue their THIS IS FOR world tour with shows in Kaohsiung on November 22 and 23, though Chaeyoung will not be participating.
