Jessica Biel may be standing by Justin Timberlake, but that does not mean she is thrilled to relive one of his roughest public moments.
Nearly two years after Timberlake’s June 2024 DWI arrest in Sag Harbor, the drama is back in circulation after police body camera footage from the stop was released on March 20 and quickly went viral. And according to a source close to the situation, Biel is more than ready for this whole chapter to disappear.

Jessica Biel Is Tired of The Renewed Attention
The renewed attention has reportedly been stressful for the family, especially because the footage shows Timberlake looking confused during field sobriety tests and trying to talk his way through a very uncomfortable stop.
“These are, like, hard tests. My heart’s racing,” Timberlake says in the video.
He stayed polite, but some of the clips still sparked secondhand embarrassment online. One of the moments getting the most attention is when he tried to explain who he was to officers.
“Yeah, I’m on tour… I’m on a world tour,” Timberlake said when asked whether he was vacationing in the area.
Then came the line people have really latched onto.
“It’s hard to explain… umm… I’m Justin Timberlake.”
That alone gave the footage a fresh gossip-life online, and insiders say Timberlake knew it would.

Why Timberlake Tried to Stop the Video from Going Public
According to reports, Timberlake’s legal team made an effort earlier this month to keep the footage from being released. A source said, “There’s a reason they fought against the footage being made public.” Another insider added that the video “obviously doesn’t paint him in the best light.”
On March 2, his attorneys reportedly argued in Suffolk County Supreme Court that releasing the footage would create “economic and personal hardship” and cause “severe and irreparable harm” to his reputation.
That effort did not hold. A settlement was eventually reached before the footage became public, and the notice stated: “Petitioner had an opportunity to review the footage respondents intend to disseminate, as redacted, related to petitioner’s June 18, 2024, traffic stop and arrest.” It also said, “Petitioner agrees that the footage respondents intend to release, as redacted, does not constitute an unwarranted invasion of personal privacy.”

As for Biel, she is reportedly still supportive. But support and frustration can live in the same house. One source said she is “supportive of Justin,” while also noting that “she’s not afraid to voice her disappointment in certain decisions. This was definitely one of those moments.”
So yes, she is sticking by him. She also seems very ready for the internet to move on.
