Harvey Weinstein has revealed that two of his children have stopped speaking to him since his imprisonment, highlighting the deep personal fallout following his criminal convictions.

The former Hollywood producer shared the details during an interview from New York’s Rikers Island jail, where he has spent the past several years following multiple rape convictions.

According to Weinstein, phone calls with three of his five children have become his main connection to life outside prison.

“I get about 16 to 18 minutes on the phone every three hours,” Weinstein told The Hollywood Reporter. “It’s my connection to the outside world.”

Weinstein said he remains in regular contact with his eldest daughter, now 30, as well as his two youngest children, who are 12 and 15 years old. However, he revealed that two of his daughters from his first marriage have not spoken to him in six years.

“They’re aware of everything. They’re old enough to use Google,” Weinstein said, referring to the widely reported allegations and convictions tied to the #MeToo movement.

The former film executive has five children in total. He shares three daughters with his first wife, Eve Chilton, and two children with his second wife, fashion designer Georgina Chapman.

Weinstein also spoke about the emotional impact the situation has had on his family, particularly his younger children. He said visits from his 12-year-old son, Dashiell, have been especially difficult.

“My son-in-law occasionally brings my 12-year-old to visit,” Weinstein said. “But it’s tough on him too. It’s emotionally devastating for him.”

Weinstein added that while he has attempted to reconnect with the two daughters who cut ties with him, those efforts have not been successful.
