Actor Luke Grimes recently shared the story of how he met his wife, Bianca Rodrigues, revealing that their relationship began in a way he never expected.
The 42-year-old actor spoke about their first meeting during an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, where he described a period in his life when he was feeling lonely and decided to try using a dating app.
Grimes said he had never imagined himself joining a dating platform but was encouraged after seeing a friend enjoy the experience. The decision unexpectedly led to meeting Rodrigues.
According to Grimes, Rodrigues became the very first person he went on a date with through the app. The connection developed quickly, and the couple married just four months after that initial meeting.
The actor described the relationship as something that brought clarity to his life. He explained that after meeting Rodrigues, many aspects of his life began to feel more meaningful.
Grimes said the relationship helped him discover something he had not realized he was searching for, adding that everything else in his life since then has felt like an added bonus.
During the interview, he also joked that he had not expected to become emotional while discussing the topic but said the conversation brought out those feelings.
Grimes and Rodrigues married in 2018. The couple has since built a life together while Grimes continues his acting career.
