
A woman has been arrested after allegedly firing multiple gunshots at Rihanna’s home in Beverly Hills, California, while the singer was inside, according to law enforcement officials.
Police responded to reports of gunfire at the residence on Sunday, March 8, at approximately 1:21 p.m. local time, the Los Angeles Times reported. Authorities said a 30-year-old woman was taken into custody after fleeing the scene. Her identity has not been publicly released.
According to investigators, the suspect fired several rounds from inside a vehicle toward the property. One of the bullets reportedly struck the exterior of the house and passed through a wall.
A law enforcement source told the Los Angeles Times that Rihanna was home at the time of the incident. It remains unclear whether anyone else was inside the residence.
Police confirmed that no injuries were reported.
Audio from LAPD radio dispatch obtained by the Los Angeles Times indicated that responding officers were informed that approximately 10 shots had been fired at the home from across the street. The suspect was reportedly inside a white Tesla, which fled south on Coldwater Canyon Drive after the shooting.
Authorities later located the suspect and placed her under arrest. Police have not yet released additional details about a possible motive.
Rihanna lives at the property with her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, and their children. The couple shares three children: RZA, Riot and Rocki.
The investigation remains ongoing.
