Actress Kim Delaney is facing intense backlash after a legal filing revealed she left the scene of a traffic collision, claiming she feared for her safety because of her celebrity status. Her lawyers also pushed back against suggestions that she was intoxicated during the incident, pointing out that no breathalyzer or blood alcohol tests were conducted and that police did not administer sobriety tests at the scene. They further rejected requests from the plaintiff that Delaney attend Alcoholics Anonymous meetings or complete rehabilitation, describing those demands as a “character attack” and an invasion of privacy.
