Brian Littrell has refiled a lawsuit against a Florida woman, alleging repeated trespassing at his beachfront property in Walton County.

The Backstreet Boys singer, along with his wife Leighanne Littrell and their company BLB Beach Hut LLC, submitted a new complaint on February 25 seeking a jury trial and more than $50,000 in damages. The filing follows a judge’s recent dismissal of an earlier version of the lawsuit.

The defendant, 67-year-old Carolyn Barrington Hill, is accused of entering the Littrell family’s beachfront property multiple times since April 2025 without permission. According to the complaint, Hill allegedly ignored posted “no trespassing” signs, set up beach furniture on the property, confronted a property manager, and refused to leave when asked. The lawsuit claims law enforcement was called to the scene at least once.

The updated filing also alleges that Hill recorded members of the Littrell family without consent and encouraged others to enter the property. The plaintiffs argue the situation has caused loss of privacy and forced them to hire security.

Hill’s legal team disputes the claims and maintains that the revised lawsuit faces the same legal challenges as the original complaint. They argue that Florida’s Constitution protects public access to shorelines and contend that the damages cited are insufficient.

A judge previously dismissed Littrell’s September lawsuit without prejudice, noting that emotional distress damages are not typically recoverable in trespass cases and that there was not enough evidence supporting certain allegations. The case now moves forward amid ongoing debate over private beachfront property rights versus public shoreline access in Florida.
