Brad Pitt’s name has surfaced in the latest release of Jeffrey Epstein documents—but not because of any alleged connection to the disgraced financier’s crimes. Instead, newly unsealed emails suggest Epstein harbored a strange fascination with the Oscar-winning actor, closely following his projects and high-profile relationships from afar.

The documents, made public on January 30, 2026, as part of a massive Justice Department release, include correspondence showing Epstein received repeated updates about Pitt’s personal and professional life. According to the emails, his longtime associate and estate executor, Richard Kahn, regularly forwarded media reports and gossip items about the Hollywood star, ranging from architectural collaborations to details about his dating life after his split from Angelina Jolie.

One particularly detailed thread from 2018 centers on Pitt’s rumored romance with renowned architect and former MIT professor Neri Oxman. In an email with the subject line referencing Pitt spending time with a “rockstar MIT professor,” Kahn shared a Page Six report describing how Pitt and Oxman allegedly connected over their shared interest in architecture and design. Follow-up messages included glowing descriptions of Oxman, along with commentary on Pitt’s evolving personal life.

The MIT angle adds another layer to the story. Epstein had previously donated significant sums to the university’s Media Lab and maintained controversial ties there. Oxman later acknowledged meeting Epstein once in 2017 at the request of the lab’s director, after he made a donation to her research group. While there’s no indication Pitt had any awareness of Epstein’s interest—or any direct contact with him—the emails suggest Epstein was keenly monitoring how his academic connections overlapped with Hollywood figures.

Elsewhere in the files, there’s mention of an apparent invitation sent to Epstein for a 2013 screening of Pitt’s film World War Z, years after Epstein’s 2008 conviction. The broader document release paints a troubling picture of how Epstein continued attempting to orbit high-profile events and celebrities long after his criminal record was public.

Importantly, nothing in the newly released material links Brad Pitt to Epstein’s activities or suggests any wrongdoing on the actor’s part. Instead, the emails appear to underscore Epstein’s long-documented pattern of seeking proximity to fame, wealth, and influence—sometimes through little more than forwarded gossip and secondhand updates about A-list stars.
