Miranda Kerr’s Surprisingly Intense Life Raising Four Kids Behind Closed Doors

Miranda Kerr is fully embracing a calm, mindful lifestyle, and she says it is something she now shares with her children every day. The supermodel and wellness entrepreneur recently opened up about her family routines, revealing how meditation has become a core part of life in her blended household.

Kerr, 42, shares her oldest son, 15-year-old Flynn, with ex-husband Orlando Bloom, and is also mom to three younger boys, Hart, 7, Myles, 6, and Pierre, 2, with husband Evan Spiegel. Speaking as part of LYMA’s Power Women series, Kerr said mindfulness has been part of her life since her teenage years and continues to help her stay centered as a mother of four.

She explained that her family practices Vedic meditation and Vedic rounding, which combine breathing techniques, mantras, and gentle movement. Kerr said all of her children except the youngest have their own personal mantras and actively participate in the practice. She credits meditation with helping her stay focused, emotionally grounded, and deeply connected to herself.

Rather than forcing adult-style routines on her kids, Kerr adapts the practice to fit their ages. While adults typically meditate for 20 minutes, her children follow shorter sessions that match their age, keeping it approachable and stress-free. She said the goal is consistency, not perfection.

Kerr also shared a sweet moment involving Flynn, who recently asked to join her early morning meditation at 6 a.m. Afterward, he told her he noticed he felt calmer and more balanced on days when he stuck to the routine, something Kerr said made her incredibly proud.

Her wellness-forward lifestyle extends beyond meditation. Kerr revealed that her daily schedule shifted dramatically after meeting Spiegel. Once a night owl, she now wakes up between 5 and 5:30 a.m., a habit she initially found shocking but has since fully embraced.

Evenings in the Kerr-Spiegel household are intentionally low-key. Kerr starts dimming the lights and playing soft music around 5 p.m. to help her children wind down naturally. The youngest is in bed by 5:30 p.m., while the rest of the family eats dinner early. Once the kids are asleep, Kerr takes time for herself with light therapy, skincare, and quiet relaxation before turning in.

For Kerr, the focus is on creating a peaceful rhythm that supports both physical and emotional well-being. It is a routine she says brings calm not just to her children, but to her entire home.
