Venus Williams is officially off the market! The tennis legend, 45, has married Italian model and actor Andrea Preti, 37, in a lavish five-day celebration that blended romance, fashion, and family history in Palm Beach, Florida.
The stunning event, documented by Vogue Weddings, marked the couple’s second ceremony after their intimate Italian nuptials in September. This stateside celebration carried special meaning for Venus—it unfolded in her childhood hometown, where she and sister Serena first learned the game that made them global icons.
Venus and Andrea’s love story began in true cinematic fashion at Milan Fashion Week 2024, when the two met at a party hosted by former Gucci creative director Sabato De Sarno. “I was immediately struck by her beauty,” Andrea recalled, adding that he was even more impressed when Venus started speaking fluent Italian. In a rom-com-worthy twist, it was Venus’s sister Lyn who made the first move—approaching Preti to swap contact info on Venus’s behalf.

The couple’s whirlwind romance led to an engagement last July, shortly after Venus’s triumphant comeback to singles tennis following a two-year break. “My fiancé has been incredibly supportive,” she told Vogue at the time.
For the Florida festivities, Venus embraced full-on bridal glamour—reportedly wearing a dozen show-stopping looks over the five days. The pair made their union official with a courthouse ceremony on December 19, followed by a star-studded celebration the next evening.
Venus’s new husband, Andrea Preti, is well-known in Italy for his modeling and acting career, with credits in films and the TV series A Professor. Meanwhile, Venus remains a sporting powerhouse with seven Grand Slam titles, four Olympic gold medals, and a silver to her name.
Reflecting on her marriage, Venus told Vogue, “I just knew he was the one. Everyone talks about that moment of certainty, and I experienced it firsthand.” She called their wedding “the happiest, most beautiful, and sweetest day of my life.”
