Sydney Sweeney is once again shutting down rumors—this time with a polygraph.
The Euphoria and White Lotus star, 28, took a lie detector test to address ongoing speculation about her body, specifically persistent claims that she’s had cosmetic work done. The moment, filmed for Vanity Fair, quickly turned into a viral headline when her co-star Amanda Seyfried bluntly asked the question many online have obsessed over.
“Are your boobs real?” Seyfried asked without hesitation.
Sweeney didn’t flinch. “Yes.”

When pressed further on whether she’d ever had any work done on them—or anywhere else—Sweeney was equally firm. “No, I’ve never gotten any work done anywhere.” The polygraph examiner confirmed her answers were truthful.
The exchange had its playful moments too. After the test cleared Sweeney, Seyfried jokingly asked if she could touch them, keeping the tone light despite the invasive nature of the rumors Sweeney has dealt with for years.
The revelation came just days after Sweeney turned heads at the Los Angeles premiere of her upcoming film The Housemaid, where she channeled old-Hollywood glamour in a white, curve-hugging gown reminiscent of Marilyn Monroe. The look only fueled online chatter—but Sweeney has been open about her complicated relationship with her body long before fame.

In past interviews, the actress revealed she considered a breast reduction while still in high school, admitting she felt uncomfortable with her chest as a teenager. Ultimately, her mother talked her out of it—a decision Sweeney now says she’s grateful for.
“When I was younger, I wanted to make them smaller,” she previously shared. “My mom told me I’d regret it, and she was right. Now I love them. They’re my best friends.”
Sweeney has also been vocal about her commitment to aging naturally, repeatedly denying claims of Botox or cosmetic procedures. “I’ve never had anything done,” she said in an October interview. “I’m terrified of needles. No fillers, no Botox, no tattoos—nothing. I want to age gracefully.”
She’s also pushed back on online comparison photos, noting that many viral side-by-sides feature images of her taken when she was barely a teenager. “Of course I look different now,” she said. “I’m older and I’m wearing makeup.”
Sweeney’s latest film, The Housemaid, based on Freida McFadden’s bestselling psychological thriller, is set to hit UK theaters on Boxing Day, with U.S. buzz already building.
For now, the actress seems unfazed—choosing transparency, humor, and confidence as her answer to the internet’s obsession.
