Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan have finally closed the book on one of Hollywood’s longest-running divorce battles. After six years of legal back-and-forth, the former couple has officially reached a property settlement—and the newly unsealed details are turning heads.

According to Page Six, court filings from November 26 show that Tatum and Dewan agreed to divide 50% of Tatum’s SAG-AFTRA producer pension earned during their nine-year marriage, giving each an equal share. The pair will also share joint custody of their 12-year-old daughter, Everly, and have agreed to privately mediate any future child-support issues.

The couple, who fell in love on the set of Step Up in 2006, separated in 2018 when Dewan filed for divorce. What followed was a prolonged legal tug-of-war largely centered around profits from Tatum’s blockbuster Magic Mike franchise. The series—which includes Magic Mike, Magic Mike XXL, Magic Mike’s Last Dance, a Las Vegas stage show, and a reality competition spinoff—has grossed more than $167 million worldwide and turned Tatum into one of Hollywood’s most bankable stars.

During the dispute, Tatum accused Dewan of dragging her feet to capitalize on the franchise’s success, while her legal team fired back that he had withheld key financial documents. Court papers show both sides traded accusations before finally agreeing to resolve the matter outside of court.

Despite the years of tension, Tatum recently struck a conciliatory tone. “We’re in a good place now,” he told Variety. “Separating so young was painful. Not seeing my daughter even for half a day is hard—I always want to be with her.”

Both have since moved on with new partners. Tatum, 44, is dating Inka Williams, and Dewan, 43, has been engaged to actor Steve Kazee since 2020. The settlement officially ends their six-year legal saga—proof that even in Hollywood, closure sometimes comes not with a fairytale ending, but with finally signing the papers.
