Brooklyn Beckham might be living in the U.S., but life across the Atlantic isn’t exactly the “American Dream” he once imagined.
The 26-year-old eldest son of soccer legend David Beckham and fashion icon Victoria Beckham has reportedly grown increasingly estranged from his famous family. Sources say the rift has been simmering for months—and this year, it became impossible to ignore.
The clearest sign? Brooklyn was a no-show at one of the biggest moments of his father’s life—David’s knighthood ceremony with King Charles. According to insiders, Brooklyn has “cut off all communication” with his family, and while he’s publicly putting on a brave face, behind closed doors it’s a different story.
“Brooklyn is fixated on his old life,” one insider told Heat. “He spends hours scrolling through social media, checking up on his parents and brothers, and messaging friends in London. He’s clearly homesick and desperate to make peace.”
Now living in Los Angeles with wife Nicola Peltz, 30, Brooklyn is said to be torn between two worlds. On one hand, he’s devoted to Nicola; on the other, he’s struggling with loneliness and regret. “He misses his family, but he’s afraid of rocking the boat with Nicola,” the source revealed. “He’s caught in the middle—and it’s breaking him.”
The feud reportedly began three years ago during Brooklyn and Nicola’s lavish wedding, when the bride’s choice not to wear a Victoria Beckham design allegedly sparked tension. Although both families later appeared to patch things up—with joint public appearances and a Beckham family Christmas in Miami—the truce didn’t last.
Insiders say the relationship between Victoria and Nicola cooled again earlier this year, reigniting a bitter divide. “Nicola still feels the Beckhams owe her an apology,” one source said. “She blames them for everything that went wrong—and Brooklyn’s siding with her completely.”
The fallout has reportedly left David and Victoria devastated. They, along with their other children—Romeo (23), Cruz (20), and Harper (14)—were not invited to Brooklyn and Nicola’s vow renewal ceremony earlier this year.
