Kim Kardashian is opening up about one of the most painful moments of her life—and how even her ex-husband, Kanye West, once doubted her trauma.

In the December 4 episode of The Kardashians, the SKIMS mogul returned to Paris to testify in the trial of the ten people accused in the 2016 armed robbery that left her tied up and fearing for her life. But as she revisited those memories, Kim revealed a shocking betrayal that still haunts her.

“My ex-husband said, ‘You faked your robbery for a TV show,’ in front of a group of people,” Kim said tearfully. “That felt like a knife to my heart.”

The reality star said hearing those words from someone so close to her was devastating. “It’s deeply painful when someone who should understand what you’ve been through doesn’t believe you,” she admitted. “It really got to me. They don’t know who I truly am.”

Kim and Kanye were still married at the time of the Paris heist but finalized their divorce in 2021. When news of the robbery broke, West famously stopped a New York concert mid-performance, telling fans he had a “family emergency” before flying to be with Kim.

Now, nearly a decade later, Kim says facing the robbers in court brought a sense of closure. “Finally being able to face these people in court, hear their apologies—I feel vindicated. It was real, and I’m glad it’s over.”

But that wasn’t the only emotional revelation. In the same episode, Kim spoke candidly about the strain of co-parenting with Ye. “Sometimes I just want to snap,” she confessed to family friend Scott Disick, “but I can’t. I just can’t do that.”

She added that despite her efforts to keep communication open, Kanye “never once called” about their four children—North, 12; Saint, 9; Chicago, 7; and Psalm, 6. When a producer noted that her ex remains “very vocal out there,” Kim said quietly, “I just can’t really engage. I think it’s better that way.”

Still, she insists her focus remains on being strong for her family. “At the end of the day,” Kim said, “my responsibility is to my kids. I have to stay strong—for them, and for myself.”
