Shannen Doherty’s family has reportedly taken legal action against her former spouse Kurt Iswarienko, accusing him of violating multiple terms of their divorce settlement.
According to the UK outlet Daily Mail, the agreement required the couple to sell their jointly owned home and split the proceeds evenly, but Iswarienko has allegedly refused to sell the property and continues living there.
Doherty’s family also claims that while he agreed to buy her share of an aircraft for 100000 USD, he unilaterally deducted 50,274 USD and has not paid the remaining amount, which they argue is part of a broader pattern of delaying the estate’s distribution.
In addition, he had reportedly promised to provide a full list of Doherty’s works created during their marriage, including published materials, so profits from licensing, broadcasting, and distribution could be divided equally, but he has not done so and has also failed to remove her photos from his website.
Doherty, who rose to fame as Brenda Walsh in the 1990s series Beverly Hills, 90210, began acting at age ten and battled breast cancer from her initial diagnosis in 2015 until her passing last July.
She filed for divorce from Iswarienko last April citing infidelity and signed the settlement one day before she died, marking the end of their marriage.
