Singer and actress Krystal Jung debuted as a solo artist on the 27th with the release of her first single Solitary. Her label Vistas and Natives describes the track as an R&B soul song that highlights her distinct musical sensibility.
The release follows her earlier R&B soul covers on SoundCloud, which had already sparked fan interest, and industry observers view this debut single as a natural step in her artistic evolution. Solitary will also be issued as a limited edition CD featuring a bonus party remix, with pre orders reaching 32,000 copies ahead of its December 2 release.
To mark the occasion Krystal released a behind the scenes documentary titled Charging Crystals on her labels YouTube channel, capturing her creative process across London, Jeju, and San Francisco, where she collaborated with acclaimed producer Toro y Moi to expand her musical range.
