Taemin, a member of SHINee and a solo artist, has achieved a major career milestone by appearing on American network television for the first time in his 18 year career.
On November 22nd KST, he performed his special digital single Veil on NBCs popular daytime talk program The Kelly Clarkson Show, drawing strong reactions from viewers right after the broadcast.

Released in September, Veil highlights Taemin’s signature artistic style, and the track reached No. 3 on Billboards World Digital Song Sales chart, underscoring his global reach. During the show, Taemin impressed viewers with his exceptional performance skills and magnetic stage presence.
The Veil stage uploaded to The Kelly Clarkson Show YouTube channel quickly drew thousands of comments from international fans, and Kelly Clarksons description of Taemin as the Idol of Idols became a trending topic.
Although Taemin has previously appeared on American broadcasts with SHINee, this marks his first solo debut on a U.S. television program, making it a meaningful milestone in his career.
Now in his 18th year since debuting in 2008, Taemin remains at the height of his popularity, following the success of his first solo world tour Ephemeral Gaze from 2024 into the first half of this year.
Looking ahead, he will hold TAEMIN LIVE Veil in Las Vegas at Dolby Live at Park General Motors on January 16th local time, with general ticket sales opening on the 25th KST.
Taemin is also set to become the only male Kpop solo artist performing at the 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April. Before that, he will conclude his Japanese arena tour 2025 TAEMIN ARENA TOUR with shows on December 24th and 25th in Hyogo, Japan.
