Torrie Wilson has become a mother for the first time at age 50, welcoming a daughter through a surrogate.

On October 20, Wilson shared the news on Instagram, writing, “A few months ago, we welcomed a baby through an angelic surrogate.” She revealed her daughter’s name as Poppy Wilson Tupper. In the U.S., surrogacy is legal in certain states, including California, New Jersey, and Nevada.

Wilson reflected on the milestone, admitting, “I wasn’t sure if ‘mom’ would ever be part of my life. Writing this, I’m overwhelmed with emotion and gratitude—it feels like I barely made it onto the subway as the doors were closing.”

Her WWE colleagues flooded social media with congratulatory messages. Natalya Neidhart and Nikki Bella wrote, “So happy for you! You’re going to be an amazing parent,” and “Really thrilled for you!” while ring announcer Lilianne Garcia added, “Lucky to have Wilson as a mom!”

Born in 1975, Wilson began her wrestling career after winning the 1999 Miss Galaxy pageant. She joined WCW in 2000 and signed with WWE the following year, rising to fame as one of SmackDown’s top Divas. Despite her popularity, Wilson retired from the ring in 2008 after back surgery due to a spinal injury. She was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019 and married Justin Tupper the same year, with whom she shares a daughter.
