Like Yongwoo from Love Siblings, Moojin also entered a handsome men’s contest, and it turns out there really are all kinds of competitions. What surprised me most is his age; according to his contest profile, he was born in 1999, making him twenty-five or twenty-six, which feels unexpectedly young considering he has already graduated college, completed military service, and become a civil servant, showing a steady run of accomplishments without much pause.

It also made me wonder whether civil servants are generally allowed to appear on dating shows, though given recent trends in Korean television it seems possible. I was curious how the production team discovered him, and it seems likely they contacted him through social media after noticing his appearance in the contest, especially since his face looks the most natural among the contestants at a time when many men reportedly undergo plastic surgery.

To me, he genuinely looks the most naturally handsome. Meanwhile, the winner has the kind of face and overall presence that would fit seamlessly into Singles Inferno, and contests like these likely act as exposure channels for aspiring entertainers hoping to catch the attention of reality-show producers.

What stands out the most is that the contest itself feels unusually non-Korean, with styling and photoshoots that resemble Thai aesthetics, creating an atmosphere so different from typical Korean contests that it feels almost jarring.
