Comedian Hong Hyun Hee has put to rest recent rumors suggesting marital discord with her husband, Jason. According to Newsis, the couple appeared together on the November 11 episode of SBS’s Barefoot Dolsing Four Men, where they candidly discussed their marriage. When cast member Lee Sang Min joked that their relationship seemed to be in crisis, the two immediately denied it, saying they had just dropped off their baby that morning.
Other panelists brought up a viral video claiming the pair was headed for divorce, which Hong clarified originated from a misunderstood radio comment in which she said that couples without children might live more freely in the future. Addressing whether they ever argue, Hong remarked that it would be stranger if they didn’t, admitting she makes small mistakes but has never been hurt by Jason since getting married.
Fellow comedian Shin Gi Ru teased that the couple seemed lacking in physical affection, prompting Hong to playfully rush over and kiss her husband. When Shin noted it was their first kiss of the day, Jason humorously replied, asking if they were expected to have a baby via Bluetooth. Hong added with a laugh that they prefer to express affection privately, insisting she always tells him not to act lovey-dovey on camera.
