Cha Eunwoo’s recent ARS event promoting his new album has sparked some unforeseen complications. On November 7, his agency Fantagio released a statement clarifying that the event’s phone number is accessible only through official channels, after reports surfaced of fans accidentally calling unrelated numbers.
The company urged participants to double-check before dialing and offered an apology to those affected by the confusion. The ARS event was designed for fans to hear a pre-recorded voice message from Cha Eunwoo as part of the promotional campaign for his solo mini-album Els. However, some enthusiastic fans misdialed and inadvertently reached random individuals, prompting the agency to issue a public notice.
Cha Eunwoo, who began his mandatory military service in July, is currently serving in the Military Band under the Defense Ministry’s Support Group. Despite his enlistment, he recently drew attention for hosting the welcome dinner for the APEC summit at the Grand Ballroom of the Gyeongju Lahan Hotel on October 31.
