HYBE is teaming up with Major League Soccer’s Los Angeles FC (LAFC) to create a groundbreaking K-Culture festival that merges K-pop and sports. This marks HYBE’s first partnership with an American pro soccer team.

As part of this exciting collaboration, HYBE will sponsor a K-Culture extravaganza during the opening home game of the ‘Audi 2025 MLS Cup Playoffs’ at Los Angeles’ BMO Stadium on October 29th. The event aims to spotlight the cultural ties between L.A. and Korea while introducing local sports enthusiasts to the allure of K-Culture. Los Angeles is home to the largest Korean population in the United States.

HYBE and LAFC are set to deliver an immersive K-Culture festival to game attendees, showcasing a vibrant mix of Korean culture, music, and community spirit.

During the match at BMO Stadium, K-pop hits will serve as the soundtrack, accompanied by a dazzling light show featuring tunes from HYBE’s star-studded roster, including BTS, SEVENTEEN, and LE SSERAFIM. The 22,000-capacity venue has previously hosted performances by J-Hope, SEVENTEEN, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, and ENHYPEN.

Fans will enjoy an electrifying K-pop fan experience complete with synchronized light-up wristbands, laser displays, and fireworks. Local Korean eateries will serve fusion dishes inspired by the vibrant flavors of L.A.’s Koreatown.

HYBE Chairman Bang Si-hyuk commented, “Music and sports share the power to unite people across linguistic and geographical divides. We’re thrilled to collaborate with LAFC and MLS in Los Angeles, a melting pot of cultures, as we build stronger connections with local fans.”

Isaac Lee, Chairman and CEO of HYBE America, added, “This partnership with LAFC amplifies our presence and cultural impact in the Americas, a key market for HYBE. This event will showcase how fandom can bridge sports, music, and cuisine, and HYBE will continue to create global entertainment through music, storytelling, and unforgettable live experiences.”

LAFC Co-President Larry Freedman stated, “LAFC recognizes the power of passionate fan culture. As HYBE’s first MLS partner, we’re committed to creating an unforgettable spectacle that captures the energy of K-pop and embodies the inclusive spirit of LAFC and Los Angeles.”

Through this LAFC partnership, HYBE aims to further promote Korean culture via K-pop and expand innovative fan experiences.
