BLACKPINK ignited Kaohsiung with a spectacular kickoff to their Asia tour. The global K-pop phenomenon held the BLACKPINK World Tour in Kaohsiung at Taiwan’s National Stadium on October 18 and 19, marking a historic milestone as the first K-pop group to headline the venue twice, following their 2023 Born Pink tour.
The quartet captivated the massive crowd from the very first moment, opening with explosive performances of Kill This Love and Pink Venom. Their unmatched charisma and precision carried through fan favorites like How You Like That, Playing with Fire, and Shut Down, as the audience filled the stadium with roaring sing-alongs and synchronized chants, matching the group’s boundless energy at every turn.

In a thrilling turn of events, Jisoo, Lisa, Jennie, and Rosé each took the spotlight with solo performances that broke from the group’s usual setlist. These individual stages showcased their distinct artistry—from fierce hip-hop and soulful pop to captivating dance routines—holding the audience spellbound from start to finish. The concert soon transformed into a euphoric celebration, as BLACKPINK and their fans together created an electrifying atmosphere of unity and joy. Sharing their appreciation, the members expressed that the energy from Kaohsiung had truly touched their hearts and that seeing the incredible stadium filled with fans was pure magic, for which they were endlessly grateful.

With Kaohsiung now behind them, BLACKPINK is set to embark on an ambitious 18-show tour spanning seven Asian cities. Their next stop is Bangkok’s Rajamangala National Stadium on Friday, followed by performances in Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong, where the group aims to deepen their connection with fans across the region.
In parallel, BLACKPINK has commenced filming a new music video for their upcoming release, hinting at a highly anticipated full-group comeback. According to YG Entertainment, the team is fully committed to delivering an outstanding production and is currently in the final stages of refining the album’s musical quality, with further updates to be announced soon.
