The Gen Z Icon, IVE’s Rei, Creates Magical Memories at KidZania. Starship Entertainment recently dropped a new episode of the YouTube series followrei_shipdo, featuring the IVE member’s adventures at KidZania.
Rei explored KidZania, an educational theme park that offers over 50 career experiences for children. A self-proclaimed KidZania enthusiast during her elementary school years, she expressed excitement about visiting the Korean branch for the first time and said she was eager to dive into the activities.
Her first stop was the ramen research center, where she took part in the noodle-making process. Showing her playful side, Rei humorously questioned the instructor’s many prompts and remarked that she had worked hard on the dough. After earning her ramen master certificate, she commented light-heartedly that becoming a master was easier than expected, entertaining viewers in the process.
She later joined a spontaneous Q&A session with her young co-adventurers, introducing herself as a student from second grade, class two. She talked about her daily routines and interactions with fans, sharing that she often relaxes by watching TikTok and that she enjoys hearing fans call her cute. When one child mentioned wanting to become an idol, Rei thanked them warmly, saying the comment meant a lot to her.
At the driving test center, Rei completed her training and earned a KidZania-exclusive license before taking to the mini-roads. Her repeated reminders to stop at red lights soon gave way to light-hearted impatience as she wondered aloud when the light would change—a moment that resonated with many viewers.
Rei’s final stop was the fire station, where she participated in firefighter training. Immersed in the role, she approached every drill, from warm-ups to fire suppression, with focus and enthusiasm.
Reflecting on her visit, Rei said that there were so many experiences to try that one day wasn’t enough. She added that having company made the experience even more enjoyable and expressed gratitude to those who joined her.
