Babymonster showcases intense action sequences in their latest music video.
On October 12, behind-the-scenes footage of the music video for “WE GO UP,” the title track from their second mini-album, was released on Babymonster’s official YouTube channel.
Ahyeon explained that this music video depicts the six of them overcoming various adversaries in its own unique ways. It culminates with all of them uniting to move towards a brighter future.
The members, transformed into warriors, began action training tailored to their individual concepts. In the video, Ahyeon tackles parkour stunts, while Chiquita takes on combat scenes. Ruka and Asa grapple with challenging wire stunts. The group underwent rigorous training to ensure high-quality action sequences.

As filming commenced, Asa, portraying a cyborg swordmaster, commented on the sword’s weight: She said it’s incredibly heavy, and she was so sore after practicing. Maybe she should have bulked up more. Despite the challenge, Asa mastered the two-handed grip and executed a complex wire scene.
Ruka, cast as an assassin, admitted that there’s a scene where she jumps from the second floor – it’s terrifying. However, through persistent practice, Ruka nailed the intense gaze required, later confessing that it was genuinely scary.
Chiquita delivered a powerful fight scene as the fighter, while Rora, the sniper, skillfully performed intricate rifle-loading actions. Rora shared that loading a rifle was new to me and tougher than she expected. Pharita, playing the psychic, flawlessly completed a mountain wire scene despite adverse weather conditions.
Facing an obstacle course, Ahyeon quipped that this is more nerve-wracking than their monthly evaluations. Despite her initial nerves, she performed flawlessly. After a minor knee injury, Ahyeon reassured the team that she’s fine, really, she’s so mortified and want to crawl into a mouse hole. She noted it can’t delay everyone because of her, and she’ll be more careful. She then returned to the set, demonstrating the group’s commitment to perfection until the very end.
