Winter from the girl group aespa recently made an appearance on the popular YouTube channel Grandpa Park Myung Soo.
Host Park Myung Soo introduced the idol with enthusiasm, saying, “My favorite celebrity is here today. I chose her as one of the most beautiful idols in the industry.” Winter arrived bearing flowers, revealing, “I personally ordered these for you.” Park Myung Soo, visibly touched, responded, “I’m probably the only one who receives such thoughtful gifts from aespa.” Upon learning that Winter had specifically chosen blue flowers because of his preference, Park Myung Soo was genuinely moved.

Park Myung Soo couldn’t contain his admiration, gushing, “She’s my absolute favorite idol, and I think she’s even more stunning in person.” When Winter mentioned she had put extra effort into her outfit for the day, Park Myung Soo playfully quipped, “You should dress like this more often. Your usual style is… well, different,” eliciting laughter from everyone present. He then shared an anecdote about a chance encounter with aespa at an airport, recalling, “Even in that busy setting, they took the time to hold my hand. It was so touching.”

The conversation took an interesting turn when Winter mentioned she had watched a previous episode featuring actress Park Bo Young. Park Myung Soo seized the opportunity to ask Winter the same question he had posed to Park Bo Young about financial management. Winter, initially hesitant, admitted, “It’s very similar in my case. My father manages all our family finances. That’s really how it is in our household.”
Shifting gears to discuss aespa’s latest release, Winter confessed that recording their new single “Dirty Work” was particularly challenging for her. She provided insight into the group’s song selection process, explaining, “Our center and all the members collaborate on choosing songs. This track was our members’ pick. The company had different songs in mind, but we pushed for this one.” When asked about potential consequences if the song doesn’t perform well, Winter displayed her passion for the track, stating, “Regardless of its success, I love this song too much to be worried about that.”
