Park Bo Young recently opened up about her experience filming the drama Our Unwritten Seoul and her preparations for an upcoming fan meeting in a new behind-the-scenes video shared by BH Entertainment.
The video, titled “[BHIND] Ppo’s Behind the Wheel — Off to Pick Up Happy B! ?? | Ready for Park Bo Young’s Written BY,” was released on Saturday on BH Entertainment’s YouTube channel. The footage showed the actress preparing for the fan event while out shopping for gifts for her fans. In a surprising twist, Park Bo Young took the wheel herself during the trip, offering some advice to the production team. “You can’t let your license gather dust,” she said. “You have to start driving right after you get it. From my experience, it’s crucial to get behind the wheel immediately.”
“After long days of filming without driving, it feels pretty unfamiliar when I finally do get back behind the wheel,” she added. Park Bo Young also revealed that she obtained her driver’s license at the age of 20 and began driving immediately. “I’ve been driving for a lot of years now,” she proudly shared.
When asked if she was still rehearsing for the fan meeting, Park Bo Young laughed, admitting, “I’m still practicing today. I rehearse whenever I get a free moment. It’s pretty nerve-wracking!” She explained that her preparation involves both physical exercise and vocal training. With her schedule remaining packed even after Our Unwritten Seoul wraps up, she confirmed, “That’s right. Once ‘Our Unwritten Seoul’ is done, I’ve got another project lined up.” Despite her excitement, she acknowledged feeling a little anxious about the fan event, saying, “The fans must be so excited, right? They seem happy lately. There was even buzz about the music video article. I’m really looking forward to the fan meeting, but I’m also a bit nervous.”

Park Bo Young, who plays the dual roles of Yoo Mi Rae and Yoo Mi Ji in Our Unwritten Seoul, shared her thoughts on a particularly emotional scene from the drama. The moment takes place when Mi Ji, a character who has been emotionally closed off, breaks down and opens up to her grandmother, finally expressing her deepest feelings.
Reflecting on this pivotal scene, Park Bo Young explained, “The scene with the grandmother is so emotional. The dialogue moved me, and from the moment I read the script, I was determined to do it justice. The scene is compelling, and I believe it will resonate with viewers and offer them a sense of comfort.”
She went on to share a humorous but relatable moment from filming: “I wanted to get it perfect so badly that I ended up overthinking it and flubbed the scene. We had to reshoot it.” Laughing, she continued, “I can’t imagine how it would’ve turned out if we hadn’t done that second take.”
