On Tuesday, Son Ye Jin launched a new personal social media account and shared several videos, captioning them, “I brought home a silkworm from the set. It’s been munching on mulberry leaves, growing bigger, and today, a moth emerged from its cocoon!”
The videos captured the fascinating transformation of the silkworm Son Ye Jin had been nurturing, from its molting stages to its incredible metamorphosis into a moth.
Clearly moved by the experience, Son Ye Jin shared her excitement, saying, “It’s absolutely incredible, heartwarming, and deeply touching!”
In another post that same day, fans got a glimpse of Son Ye Jin enjoying a more relaxed moment at a playground. Dressed casually in a black T-shirt and shorts, she was seen joyfully swinging, her face lighting up with a radiant smile that seemed to take her back to simpler, carefree days.
Her followers were quick to respond, flooding the comment section with enthusiasm. Comments ranged from “So happy you opened this account!” and “Please post here more often!” to playful remarks like “A new account to follow!” and “You’re so cute, Mommy Ye Jin!”
Son Ye Jin, who first rose to fame in a 1999 commercial, has become a cherished figure in the world of Korean entertainment. Her impressive career spans hit dramas such as Thirty-Nine,Crash Landing on You, and Something in the Rain, alongside standout films like Be With You,The Last Princess,The Truth Beneath, and The Classic.
In March 2022, Son Ye Jin married fellow actor Hyun Bin, and the couple welcomed their first child, a son, soon after. The two had previously shared the screen in the film The Negotiation and the internationally adored drama Crash Landing on You.
