Nana is proving she’s still a major heartthrob, even years after her debut in K-pop.
The multi-talented star appeared on the latest episode of the YouTube talk show “Salon Drip 2,” hosted by comedian Jang Do Yeon, on the TEO_universe channel.
During the interview, Jang Do Yeon mentioned Nana’s reputation as someone who offers excellent relationship advice. Nana agreed, saying, “I’m a good listener and communicator. My friends always come to me with their dating problems.”
When asked about her approach to romance, Nana didn’t hold back. “I’m incredibly proactive,” she admitted. “If I like someone, I make sure they know it, no mixed signals.”
Jang then asked what she would do if the other person didn’t respond to her flirting. Nana, ever cool, waved it off and said, “Why bother?” a line that had the audience cheering.
Impressed, Jang joked, “So what does it take to date someone like you?” Nana’s honest response? “There are plenty of fish in the sea. If it’s one-sided, it’s just exhausting.”
The conversation shifted to a recent vlog Nana posted, where she and Jeon Somi were seen casually walking around town without disguises. “I don’t hide my face,” Nana said. “I’m out there so openly that people sometimes just say, ‘Wow, you really look like Nana.'”
Then came one of the episode’s funniest moments. “I still get hit on all the time,” she revealed. “Once, at a pub, five different guys asked for my number. One even asked in Japanese, he thought I was from Japan!”
Even after she told him who she was, the guy didn’t believe her. “His friend ended up checking my Instagram and went, ‘Holy crap, it really is her!'” Nana laughed.
“Do I look that different in person?” she wondered aloud. Jang playfully responded, “He probably thought, There’s no way that’s the Nana.”
