Travis Kelce may have one unexpected wedding hopeful waiting by the phone.
Jena Sims, the wife of five-time major winner Brooks Koepka, revealed that she has long had a major soft spot for the Kansas City Chiefs tight end. In fact, she called Kelce her “hall pass” while joking about wanting an invite to his upcoming wedding with Taylor Swift.
Sims met Kelce earlier this year at the Annexus Pro-Am in February. For the Sports Illustrated model, it was not just another celebrity run-in. It was a long-awaited moment.
“I was so excited to meet Travis Kelce. I mean, he’s my hall pass, and Brooks knows that,” Sims told People on June 8. “Brooks was like, ‘You are ridiculous.’”
She added that she even planned her look around meeting him. “I dressed a little sportier than I would have normally gone on a day like that, because I was so excited to meet Travis Kelce,” she said.

Sims did not hide how excited she was about meeting Kelce.
She also shared a video of herself getting ready for the encounter and made it clear that her fandom went back years. Sims said she had been a Kelce fan “even before Taylor was in the picture.”
The meeting apparently made enough of an impression that Kelce remembered her later. “At the Masters this past year, he came straight up to me,” Sims recalled. “And was like, ‘Hey, it’s good to see you again.’ I’m like, ‘Oh my God. You remember?’” That moment only seemed to fuel her joke about wanting to be included in the wedding crowd.
Sims even joked about signing a possible NDA if an invite came her way. Then she sent Kelce one direct message through the interview. “It’s not too late, Travis!” she said.
Brooks Koepka And Travis Kelce Also Hit It Off
The Kelce connection was not only through Sims.
Koepka also appeared to enjoy meeting the Chiefs star at the February event. The golfer said he and Kelce have mutual friends and had known of each other for some time. Koepka called Kelce a “great guy” and said the tight end was impressed by his long drives.
Kelce is not usually seen as a major golf-world figure, but he does appear at golf events from time to time, sometimes with his brother Jason Kelce. Given his growing crossover between sports and entertainment, a wedding guest list with high-profile athletes would not be surprising.
That is where Sims’ joke suddenly feels slightly less impossible.
Taylor Swift Wedding Rumors Keep Growing
Swift and Kelce’s wedding plans have already become one of the most-watched celebrity stories of the year.
TMZ reported that Swift is personally inviting guests by phone, with some receiving texts instead. The reported strategy would leave no traditional paper trail and would help protect privacy around the event.
Page Six has reported that Madison Square Garden in New York City is expected to host the star-studded celebration. The venue has no events listed from June 29 to July 6, which has led to speculation that it may be the chosen location.
TMZ has also claimed that Swift and Kelce booked three days at Madison Square Garden and are paying a large nightly amount for the venue. The reported choice would offer serious security for an event expected to draw stars from both entertainment and sports.
Earlier reports had pointed to Rhode Island as a possible wedding location. But if Madison Square Garden is the final venue, the guest count could reportedly reach 1,100 to 1,200 people.
That may give Sims a little hope. After all, she has already met Kelce, made him remember her, and publicly offered to sign the NDA. Now the question is whether her “hall pass” joke gets her anywhere near the guest list.
