Kim Kardashian’s Monaco Grand Prix appearance gave Formula 1 fans two things to argue about: her rumored romance with Lewis Hamilton and her paddock wardrobe.
The reality star and Skims founder attended the Formula 1 weekend in Monaco after weeks of growing talk about her connection with Hamilton. The pair have been spotted together several times, and their recent social media appearances have only added more heat to the dating chatter.
Kardashian’s trackside appearance should have been a major celebrity moment. Instead, some F1 fans were stuck on what she wore.
Kim Kardashian’s Monaco Look Drew Fast Criticism
On one day at the Circuit de Monaco, Kardashian wore a black lace tank with loose light-wash jeans, black shield sunglasses, and black pointed-toe pumps.
Kardashian also wore a second look during the weekend, choosing a cream bodycon gown with an asymmetrical neckline, draped details, and purple shield sunglasses. She finished that look with black pointed-toe pumps.
Not everyone thought the looks worked for Monaco. Some fans argued that a Formula 1 paddock appearance, especially in Monaco, called for something sharper.
“I’m not a Kim hater,” one fan wrote. “But you’re literally Kim Kardashian. Making your debut Paddock appearance. In MONACO. And THIS is the outfit you choose?!” Others agreed. “My thoughts EXACTLY !!!!” one person wrote. Another added, “Her outfits are okay for USA but very inappropriate for Monaco even more for F1 paddock…looks very tacky.”
One fan was even more blunt, writing, “Can someone please tell her this isn’t a NASCAR tailgate party? It’s Formula 1. In freaking Monaco.”

Not everyone thought the backlash was fair.
Some Kardashian fans argued that Kim can dress however she wants, especially because her arrival brought even more mainstream attention to the race weekend.
“Guys this is THE Kim K she can wear whatever she wants unapologetically shes bringing in a new era of wags and im here for it,” one supporter wrote.
Lewis Hamilton Addressed The Support
Hamilton, who now races for Ferrari, was asked about having a “high-profile supporter” at the track after the race.
“It’s amazing to have her come this weekend and have the support,” he said, without naming Kardashian directly. “It’s amazing to have good people around you and good people supporting you, and she does that for me every day.”
Kardashian was also seen wearing Ferrari team-branded headphones during Saturday’s qualifying session.
Hamilton later blew a kiss from the podium after receiving the second-place trophy, matching his best Grand Prix result since joining Ferrari ahead of the 2025 season.
For Kardashian, the Monaco trip may have been meant as a show of support. For fans, it became a full debate over romance, racing, and whether her paddock look passed the Formula 1 test.
