Nicole Kidman may be looking ahead after her split from Keith Urban, and one much younger Australian actor is reportedly on her radar.
The 58-year-old actress finalized her divorce from Urban earlier this year after nearly two decades of marriage. Now, insiders claim Kidman is interested in working with ‘Euphoria’ star Jacob Elordi, 28, as she enters a new personal and professional chapter.
“Nicole has been on the lookout for a new, younger leading man,” one insider said. “And after getting to know Jacob, it looks like her hunt is over.”
That does not mean romance is on the table. In fact, sources suggest Kidman’s interest may be more about finding the right on-screen partner.
Kidman And Elordi Reportedly Had Oscars Moment
Kidman and Elordi reportedly shared a friendly moment at the Oscars earlier this year. Kidman was there as a presenter, while Elordi was nominated for his performance in ‘Frankenstein’. During the ceremony, Elordi was seen kissing Kidman’s hand, and the two later attended the same afterparty.
The moment sparked curiosity, but Elordi has also recently been linked to Kendall Jenner. The two first stirred dating talk in April 2026, after reports claimed they had been getting close at a Coachella afterparty.
So, whatever may happen between Kidman and Elordi appears more likely to stay in the Hollywood collaboration lane.
Kidman’s Daughters Are Reportedly Fans
Sources claim Kidman likes that she and Elordi share similar Australian backgrounds. She reportedly hopes he may be open to letting her mentor him or work with her on the right project.
There may also be extra approval at home. “She also knows she’s going to have extra kudos from Sunny and Faith,” the insider said, referring to Kidman’s daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15. “Like most teenage girls, they are huge fans of Jacob.”
Kidman shares the girls with Urban. Their divorce was finalized in January after a September 2025 filing, with Kidman reportedly having primary custody.
Elordi Reportedly Admired Kidman For Years
The most eyebrow-raising part of the report involves Elordi’s own alleged admiration for Kidman.
“Jacob is in awe of Nicole and would do anything to work with her,” another source said. “He’s had a crush on her since he was 15.”
Still, the insider claimed Elordi would not risk a serious career opportunity by making things awkward. “He wouldn’t dare make a move,” the source said. “This is a chance to work with an Oscar-winning actress.”
For Kidman, the timing is interesting. Urban reportedly moved on quickly after their split, while Kidman has stayed focused on her daughters, her work, and what comes next.
