Jennifer Lopez made sure the ‘Office Romance’ premiere had a serious fashion moment.
The 56-year-old singer and actress arrived at the Los Angeles event on Tuesday night in a dramatic black Atelier Versace gown from the Spring/Summer 2004 collection. The vintage piece, sourced from Lily et Cie, gave Lopez one of her boldest red carpet looks for the film’s rollout so far.
The dress featured a strapless shape, an ultra-low neckline, and mesh that created an optical illusion effect. Three black embellished straps crossed over the bodice, while web-like lace detailing dropped into a full skirt that moved behind her as she walked.
Lopez kept the rest of the styling clean. No necklace. No heavy hair moment. No distraction.
Jennifer Lopez Brings Vintage Versace Drama
Lopez wore her hair straight and parted down the middle, letting the sharp structure of the dress stay front and center. The look had a classic JLo formula: high drama, serious glamour, and enough edge to make the red carpet photos move fast online.
She also leaned into a loose form of method dressing for ‘Office Romance’. Two weeks earlier, Lopez appeared in a corset-style blazer look tied to the film’s promo run.
This time, she went more old-Hollywood-meets-archive-Versace. It was sleek, risky, and clearly built for cameras.

The Cartier Jewelry Was Not Quiet
Lopez skipped a necklace, but she did not skip the diamonds.
She wore Cartier earrings worth $82,500, made with 18K white gold, diamonds, and onyx. She also added two Panthère rings from the brand.
One ring, a moi et toi version, costs $32,000. The larger matching style on her other hand is priced at $52,500.
So, even with the stripped-back neckline styling, the jewelry bill alone did plenty of talking.

‘Office Romance’ Brings A ‘Selena’ Reunion
Lopez appeared cheerful on the carpet alongside her co-star Brett Goldstein.
The premiere also brought a small ‘Selena’ reunion. Edward James Olmos, who played Lopez’s on-screen father in the 1997 film, is playing her father again in ‘Office Romance’.
Other attendees included Jackie Sandler with Adam Sandler, Amy Sedaris, Tony Hale, and more.
Lopez has spent decades knowing exactly how to turn a premiere into a fashion headline. With this archival Versace gown, she did it again.
