Sylvester Stallone meant to share a sweet anniversary moment with Jennifer Flavin. Instead, one detail in the photo sent fans into a fresh round of health concern.
The 79-year-old actor, who turns 80 in July, posted the image while celebrating 29 years of marriage to Flavin, 57, in London. Stallone sat in a leather chair wearing a black tracksuit. Flavin stood nearby in a white skirt and matching long-sleeve top, holding a champagne flute.
The caption was pure romance. “Happy anniversary, you give my life meaning!” Stallone wrote. Flavin replied, “I love you, you are my everything!”
The post should have been a simple anniversary tribute. Fans, however, quickly noticed the cane resting beside the ‘Rocky’ legend.
Stallone’s Cane Detail Gets Fans Talking
Supportive comments flooded the post, but some fans focused on Stallone’s physical condition.
The actor has spent decades playing bruising action heroes, from Rocky Balboa to John Rambo. That career came with injuries, surgeries, and years of strain on his body. So when fans saw him seated and leaning on a cane, it hit differently.
One source close to the actor claimed the image worried people around him. “People know Sylvester has put his body through absolute hell over the years filming action movies, but seeing him relying so heavily on the cane really shocked some fans,” the insider said.
The source added that some close to Stallone fear years of injuries may now be showing in a very public way. “That photo sparked concern because he looked exhausted and physically diminished in a way people are not used to seeing from him,” the insider claimed. Stallone And Flavin Mark 29 Years Together
Stallone and Flavin first met in 1988 at a restaurant in West Hollywood. She was 19. He was 42.
They married in 1997 and share three daughters: Sophia, 29, Sistine, 27, and Scarlet, 23. Stallone also shares son Seargeoh, 44, with his first wife, Sasha Czack. His eldest son, Sage, died in 2012 at age 36.
The actor was previously married to Czack from 1974 to 1985 and to Brigitte Nielsen from 1985 to 1987.
Stallone and Flavin later opened up their family life on ‘The Family Stallone’, which aired in 2023 and 2024. The series also touched on the couple’s rough patch in 2022, when Flavin filed for divorce before they reconciled one month later.

During the show, Stallone reflected on meeting Flavin and said the connection was instant.
“I remember vividly the first time I met Jennifer,” he said. “She came in and, whoa! Something happened.” Flavin said they were “inseparable all night.”
Stallone also addressed the period when their marriage nearly ended, calling it “a very tumultuous time.” “There was a reawakening of what was more valuable than anything,” he said, “which is my love for my family.”
Now, nearly three decades into their marriage, the anniversary post showed that bond still intact. It also reminded fans that one of Hollywood’s most durable action stars is aging in real time.
