Cardi B and Stefon Diggs’ reunion is already facing serious heat.
The rapper and the NFL star appeared to confirm they were back on during Mother’s Day weekend, sharing affectionate moments at an event hosted by Diggs’ foundation. But just as the couple seemed to be moving forward, Diggs’ former chef, Mila Adams, came forward with damaging allegations about how he allegedly treated Cardi while she was pregnant.
Adams addressed Cardi directly in a social media video posted on May 11, claiming she had witnessed behavior that disturbed her.
Stefon Diggs’ Former Chef Makes Serious Claims
Adams alleged that Diggs mistreated Cardi B during her pregnancy, in the delivery room, and after their son was born in November 2025.
She claimed that she and Cardi had both suffered because of the same person, saying, “the same person that abused you abused me.”
Adams also claimed there are text messages showing Diggs belittling and speaking down to Cardi during their relationship.
Her remarks come after Adams accused Diggs of assault during a financial argument in late 2025. Diggs was found not guilty of felony strangulation and misdemeanor assault and battery after a trial that concluded on May 5, but Adams has continued to stand by her version of events.
In her caption, Adams insisted that she did not lie in court and claimed Cardi knows “exactly who he really is.”
Cardi B And Diggs Show PDA Amid Backlash
The timing is messy.
Just days before Adams’ video, Cardi and Diggs were seen together at the Diggs Deep Foundation’s Mother’s Day wellness event in Washington, D.C., on May 9.
The event, titled ‘A Moment for Mom’, appeared to mark a public reconciliation for the pair after a brief split earlier this year. In one video from the event, Diggs was seen holding Cardi’s waist and kissing her on the head.
The public display quickly took on a different meaning after Adams’ allegations resurfaced online. What looked like a romantic reunion now has fans questioning what was happening behind the scenes.
Diggs Is Fighting More Reputation Drama
Diggs is also dealing with another legal fight tied to his public image.
The wide receiver has filed a defamation lawsuit against social media influencer Christopher Blake Griffith, claiming Griffith’s sexual assault allegations hurt his reputation and affected his ability to earn money.
Griffith has pushed back, arguing that any damage to Diggs’ public image is tied to the athlete’s own “messy personal life,” including his highly publicized relationship with Cardi B.
That argument now feels even sharper as Adams’ claims draw more attention to Diggs’ private life.
Cardi Previously Seemed Ready To Move On
Cardi had appeared to send Diggs a pointed message earlier this year while performing in San Francisco during her ‘Little Miss Drama’ tour.
She did not name him, but fans widely interpreted her comments as being about their rocky relationship. Onstage, Cardi said she was “too grown to be played with” and questioned why anyone would risk losing a woman like her.
Now, the pair appear to be reunited. But Adams’ allegations have made that reunion far more complicated.
For Cardi and Diggs, the Mother’s Day PDA may have suggested a fresh start. The backlash now surrounding them suggests the old drama is nowhere near finished.
