Prosecutors are laying out a deeply disturbing timeline in the case against D4vd, claiming the singer bought chainsaws, a shovel and other items after allegedly killing 14-year-old Celeste Rivas.

According to new court documents, investigators allege D4vd stabbed Rivas at his Hollywood Hills home on April 23, 2025, after ordering an Uber to bring her from her family’s home in Lake Elsinore, California.

Prosecutors claim he then began buying items they believe were connected to a cover-up.

Prosecutors Say D4vd Bought Tools After The Alleged Killing

The filing claims D4vd ordered a shovel from Home Depot the day after Rivas died. Prosecutors say it was delivered to his home through Postmates.

About a week later, on May 1, investigators allege he bought two chainsaws from Amazon. Four days after that, prosecutors claim he purchased a body bag, heavy-duty laundry bags, and a blue inflatable pool.

The documents allege the purchases were made under the fake name “Victoria Mendez.”

Authorities say that when detectives searched D4vd’s rental home in September 2025, they found evidence they believe was tied to the handling of Rivas’ body in the garage area. Prosecutors also claim biological samples that tested positive for blood were collected there.

Investigators Claim The Relationship Began When Rivas Was A Minor

Prosecutors claim D4vd and Rivas first met in 2022, when she was 11. The documents allege their relationship later became physical when she was 13 and he was 18.

The filing also claims D4vd knew she was underage after sheriff’s deputies contacted him in February 2024, following a missing-person report from Rivas’ family. Prosecutors say he told deputies he had spoken to her days earlier but claimed he did not know she was a minor or missing.

Rivas later returned home, and her parents took her phone. Prosecutors allege D4vd then paid a student in her class $1,000 to deliver a new phone he had bought for her.

The documents claim the two traveled together in 2024, including trips to Las Vegas, London, and Texas.

Prosecutors Point To Alleged Text Fight Before Her Death

According to prosecutors, Rivas and D4vd argued by text the night before she was allegedly brought to his home. The documents claim Rivas threatened to reveal damaging information about their relationship.

D4vd’s first studio album was scheduled to be released on April 25, just days later.

Prosecutors allege he sent texts to Rivas’ phone shortly after she arrived at his home, asking where she was. The district attorney’s office claims those messages were part of a “premeditated plan to cover up the murder.”

Authorities also claim D4vd made multiple trips to a remote area in Santa Barbara County, possibly to dispose of evidence. Rivas’ passport was reportedly later found in that same area.

Rivas’ body was found in the back of D4vd’s Tesla in September. Prosecutors say surveillance video shows the singer was the last person to drive the vehicle before leaving for tour.

D4vd was arrested two weeks ago. Prosecutors also claim he had 40 terabytes of CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material) at the time of his arrest. He has pleaded not guilty.
