Arnold Schwarzenegger and Heather Milligan are still going strong, and their latest public outing has fans paying attention.
The 78-year-old ‘Terminator’ star and his longtime girlfriend, 51, were spotted having dinner at Nobu Malibu in photos published Wednesday, April 29. The outing marked one of their first public date nights in months, giving a rare glimpse at a relationship the couple usually keeps fairly low-key.
Schwarzenegger kept things classic in a black blazer, matching top and dark blue denim jeans. Milligan went for a crisp white blazer with gold buttons, pairing it with a white top and white pants. She wore her blonde hair in loose curls and finished the look with sunglasses.
The Couple Had Not Been Seen Publicly In Months
Schwarzenegger and Milligan’s last major public appearance came in September 2025, when they attended the Raising Hope for Climate Justice press conference in Vatican City.
For that event, Schwarzenegger wore a gray suit with a white shirt, red tie and sunglasses. Milligan matched the formal tone in a black suit, black top, black clutch and statement gold necklace.
Their Malibu dinner was much more relaxed. Still, for a couple that does not constantly turn up at red carpets or celebrity parties, even a quiet dinner can get people talking.
They Met After His Shoulder Surgery
Schwarzenegger and Milligan’s relationship began after a practical introduction.
According to the actor, the two met in 2012 while he was recovering from shoulder surgery and attending physical therapy. Milligan, a physical therapist, was part of that chapter.
“I called her and took her out for lunch to say thank you,” Schwarzenegger said. “And then one thing led to the next.”
The actor has also spoken warmly about why the relationship works.
“We have so many things in common,” he said. “I think the world of her. I love that she’s into working. She’s clearly independent. She just is very driven.”
Schwarzenegger Was Previously Married To Maria Shriver
Before his relationship with Milligan, Schwarzenegger was married to Maria Shriver.
The former couple wed in 1986 and share four children: Patrick, Katherine, Christopher and Christina Schwarzenegger. Shriver filed for divorce in 2011, and their divorce was finalized in 2021.
Since then, Schwarzenegger has kept much of his personal life steadier and more private. His relationship with Milligan has lasted more than a decade, even if they rarely make a major public show of it.
Their Nobu Malibu dinner may not have been dramatic, but it did remind fans that one of Hollywood’s most recognizable action stars is still enjoying a quiet romance far from the usual noise.
