Shannon Elizabeth’s new fan-platform chapter is already making serious money.
The ‘American Pie’ star reportedly earned more than $1 million in her first week after launching her O.F. account. A source said the actress brought in “more than seven figures” through direct messages, tips and posts on the subscription-based platform.
That number is already raising eyebrows, especially because Elizabeth’s launch came shortly after news surfaced that she had quietly filed for divorce from her husband, Simon Borchert.
A representative for the actress confirmed that part of the income from her O.F. account will go toward the Shannon Elizabeth Foundation and help support a gala in Las Vegas this summer.
Elizabeth Says She Wanted Control After Hollywood
Elizabeth said the move is about taking control of her own story after years in Hollywood.
“I’ve spent my entire career working in Hollywood, where other people controlled the narrative and the outcome of my career,” she said, calling the platform “the future.”
She said this next phase lets her show “a more daring side” while connecting more directly with fans.
In a separate statement, Elizabeth said appearances had reminded her how much fan support meant throughout her career.
“Reconnecting with my fans through appearances has reminded me just how much their support has meant to me throughout my career, and how much I’ve missed that energy,” she said.
She added that O.F. gives her space to share a behind-the-scenes look at her life and build a more personal connection with longtime supporters.
“This isn’t just content to watch from a distance,” she said. “This is for the people who have always shown up for me, and I want them to feel that.”
Her Divorce Is Still Moving Forward
Elizabeth and Borchert, a South African conservation specialist, married in 2021 after meeting in 2015. The actress was previously married to actor-producer Joseph Reitman from 2002 to 2005.
She said the separation from Borchert was not sudden.
“I’ve been separated since September of last year, and this has been a thoughtful, ongoing process,” Elizabeth said. “The meaningful pieces are already behind me, and only the formalities remain.”
She added that she feels “stronger, clearer, and happier” than she has in a long time.
‘American Pie’ Still Shapes Her Image
Elizabeth became famous playing Nadia, the foreign exchange student in ‘American Pie.’ The role followed her for decades, even though she says people confused the character with who she really was.
“For me, it was a role, it was playing a character,” she said.
She explained that she has never been as uninhibited as people assumed. “Because that was kind of my coming out, everyone assumed I was that girl,” she said.
Elizabeth later appeared in ‘Scary Movie,’ ‘Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back,’ ‘Thirteen Ghosts’ and ‘Love Actually.’
Now, her O.F. success is funding both a personal reset and her conservation work through the Shannon Elizabeth Foundation. After years away from the Hollywood spotlight, Elizabeth has found a new business lane, and it is clearly paying off fast.
