Sean “Diddy” Combs is reportedly preparing for a dramatic return to the spotlight following his prison sentence, with insiders claiming the music mogul already has plans for a major celebration when he is released.
According to entertainment journalist Rob Shooter, the 56-year-old hip-hop executive is planning what sources describe as a “party of the century” to mark his release.
A source told Shooter that the event is intended to surpass the famous White Parties that once defined Diddy’s celebrity social scene.
“He’s aiming for a release party that’ll make history,” the insider reportedly said. “He wants it to feel like he’s reclaiming his throne.”
Another source suggested that Diddy has no intention of stepping away from public life after serving his sentence.
“The moment he walks free, he’ll be back in the spotlight,” the source said.
The Bad Boy Records founder was sentenced to 50 months in prison in October 2025 after pleading guilty to two counts of transportation for prostitution purposes.
Recent reports indicate his expected release date has been moved forward from June 4, 2028, to April 25, 2028. The change reportedly came after he agreed to participate in the Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP), a rehabilitation initiative offered within the federal prison system.
A representative for Combs said he has been actively participating in the program and remains focused on personal growth and rehabilitation.
Sources close to the situation also claim that Diddy views the experience as a turning point rather than the end of his career.
“He sees this time as a refining process,” one source reportedly said, adding that Combs believes the experience will ultimately make him stronger as he prepares for life after prison.
