Piers Morgan is pushing back against a viral clip that appears to show him criticizing Billie Eilish, calling the footage a fabricated AI video.
The British broadcaster addressed the controversy on X, stating that the circulating video is not authentic. He warned followers that the clip is AI-generated and urged people not to be misled by manipulated content spreading online.

The video, which has racked up significant views, was initially shared by an account claiming that several major brands had dropped endorsement deals with Eilish following comments she made at the Grammy Awards. In her speech, the singer criticized ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement), saying, “No one is illegal on stolen land.”
In the altered clip, Morgan appears to sharply condemn Eilish over those remarks. However, he insists he never made the statements shown in the video. There is currently no verified evidence that the footage is genuine.
The incident adds to growing concerns about the rise of AI-generated deepfakes, particularly those involving public figures. As synthetic media becomes more sophisticated, experts continue to warn about the potential for misinformation and reputational harm.
